We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. As a matter of course, we handle your personal data in accordance with regulations on data protection at all times. We have appointed a competent and reliable external data protection officer. This is UIMC Dr. Voßbein GmbH & Co KG.

In the following, we would like to inform you about the processing of personal data at ADRA Deutschland e.V..

Collection and processing of personal data

You can use our web presence without any disclosure of your identity. Should we ask for your personal data (such as name, address, or email address), for example in the context of contact forms or when registering, this is always voluntary. We are using the information for business purposes (such as the shipping of requested materials/information).

If you have any questions, you can contact us via the contact form presented on our webpage. Data marked as required (“*”) are necessary to assign and answer your inquiry. Any additional details are voluntary. The data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with article 6, paragraph 1 (1a) GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent.

The personal data collected when using the contact form will be deleted after your request has been answered and after the fiscal and legal retention obligation period ended.

A consent that has been given once – for example in order to receive a newsletter or any other interesting information – can be revoked at any moment without any reason, with effect for the future.

Every time that the web presence is being accessed, protocols are being created and processed for statistical reasons, whilst the individual user remains anonymous:

  • IP is being analyzed to determine country and provider
  • Browser, operating system, installed plugins, and screen resolution
  • Time spent on the pages

The data mentioned above are being handled on the basis of our legitimate interest according to article 6, paragraph 1 (1f) GDPR for the following purposes:

  • safeguarding the comfortable usage of our internet presence
  • analysis of system security and its stability, as well as
  • other administrative purposes

We reserve the right to subsequently review those data if there are concrete indications for unlawful use. The data are deleted immediately if they are not necessary to fulfill the purposes anymore; the latest after six months.

Disclosure of data

We do not disclose any data to a third party, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, without your explicit consent. We only disclose data to a third party, if this is required and/or permitted by law [such as on the basis of article 6 GDPR]. In part, we use service providers for the commissioned data processing provided by law; the web page is being hosted at 1&1 Internet SE. The full responsibility for data processing still remains with us. Furthermore, we partly use plugins of other providers on our web presence; you will find more details below.

Liability for own content

The content of these pages has been created with great care. However, we cannot assume liability for its accuracy, completeness, and currency. As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these web pages in accordance to general legislation.

Modification of Privacy Policies

We reserve the right to modify these privacy policies occasionally to comply with current legal obligations or to implement modifications of our services in the privacy policies – such as the introduction of new services. The new Privacy Policies are valid from the moment of your next visit.

Web analytics with Google Analytics

On our website we use the software of (Wikando GmbH, Schießgrabenstr. 32, 86150 Augsburg). FundraisingBox offers organisations, intitutions, and foundations the possibility to manage donations and online fundraising with the help of a software. You can donate on our website via Fundraisingbox, just as you can start a donation campaign in order to collect donations for our organization (for a specific purpose or not).

Facebook

So-called plug-ins („like“ Buttons) by Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) are integrated in our web presence. It will be submitted to Facebook, which of our webpages you have visited with your IP address the moment you access the respective page on our web presence. If you are logged in as a member of Facebook, this will be related to your personal Facebook account. When using the plug-in functions (such as when clicking the “like” button or when commenting), these information will also be related to your Facebook account. You can object to the mailing of the newsletter at any moment with effect to the future.

For statistical reasons, we track which links are clicked in a newsletter and which actions lead to our web presence (“conversion”). There data are not attributed to you personally, they are anonymous.

Any data that you provided to us are necessary to send you the newsletter. Without these data, we cannot consider your subscription to the newsletter.

External service providers

To send you the newsletter, we are supported by a service provider (CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG) who has access to your data on the basis of a commissioned data processing contract according to article 28 GDPR.
